Note that not all of the ray processors work in all versions of GroIMP (in the current 2.1.3 version of GroIMP, only photon mapping is not working). When changing parameter values in the preferences, you always have to leave the field you changed with your cursor before closing the preferences window (just click in a different field) for your changes to take effect.
